I personally look at pastoral counseling as a means to further the building of the kingdom of heaven. I also see pastoral counseling as providing hidden knowledge concerning healing through a spiritual life changing experience which can be counseling. How many can visibly see pastoral counseling as a branch from the heart of God that reaches the clients in need of his healing grace and can be performed by a licensed Counselor?
